Coil Weave Basket

Coil Weave Basket; Sisal rope and yarn; 15cm×7cm; Apr 2017

This is a coil weave basket I made. It all starts with just one long thick sisal rope and some yarn.
I used some yarn to wrap around the rope and put a stitch between levels to make it form a basket shape. The most challenging part to make this basket is to be patience as it takes a long time to wrap around even though mine is not a big one.
